I am looking forward to joining my fellow producers of the '04 Gala Fundraiser Broadway for a New America. The event was hosted by comic Robert Klein, the evening featured Al Franken, Tovah Feldshuh, Kathleen Chalfant and Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris among many others. Special to the evening, R. David gathered some of the greatest American clowns of the last half century, the vanguard of the New Vaudeville theatre movement in America: Avner Eisenberg, Bob Berkey and Kenny Raskin…as well as the greatest clown trio in American history for their first performance in over 15 years. The Original Pickle Family Clown Reunion Performance included, Bill Irwin (Special Tony Award, “Fool Moon”), Geoff Hoyle (“The Lion King,” Cirque du Soliel) and Larry Pisoni.
