On a side note, a couple of people asked me what I meant by "non-partisan" in the last email. Drinking Liberally is for liberals and progressives. "Non-partisan" should not be confused with "bi=partisan".

Hey Folks,

Just wanted to send out a quick note thanking you all for coming out last night. Welcome to the new faces: Tammy and Clay, Mandy, Kevin, Kathy, and Debra and Sebastian. I'm sorry I didn't have more time with each of you and hopefully I'll get more in the coming months.

As an order of business, the big complaint from last night was the noise level. After the event, I went (at the urging of others) over to Rusty's Pizza @ 6675 Ming Avenue and talked to them about reserving a space. If everyone is OK with a location change, I'll send a confirmation email next week and make the changes to our websites.

Second, I just want to reiterate that Drinking Liberally is a non-partisan organization. We've all got our points of view and I myself am incredibly partisan and am happy to share my views with anyone within earshot. However, as a group we don't endorse parties or people or positions and when I'm wearing my Drinking Liberally hat, I am explicitly prohibited from doing so. That said, if you're interested in getting in touch with any of the local parties, I'll do my very bestest to help you do that and if you're a local party or candidate or group and would like to share "news" with us, you're more than welcome.
