New Talk Show Featuring Laughing Liberally Chicago Comedians

Hey everybody,

Apologies for the self-promotion here, but I wanted to let the Chicago Living Liberally community know about a new talk show on the web that features a whole slew of Laughing Liberally Chicago comics and guests.

The show is the creatively titled Matthew Filipowicz Show, and it features comedy from Laughing Liberally Chicago co-hosts Tim Grimes and James Bespalec-Davis from the Accountants of Homeland Security, as well as regular LL guests Lauren Maul, Frank Chow and Bob Rok (aka Nick Garcia). As well as Josh Bolotsky from Living Liberally national.

The show is a combination of liberal talk, news, comedy and interviews. Our interviews so far have included Drinking Liberally and Living Liberally co-founder Justin Krebs, Nixonland author Rick Perlstein, Cenk Uygur from the Young Turks and MSNBC, John Nichols, Greg Mitchell and Dave Zirin from the Nation Magazine, author Jeff Biggers, hip hop star Phillip Morris, Allison Kilkenny from Citizen Radio, Laughing Liberally founder Katie Halper, Mike Elk from In These Times, and a ton more.

There are new episodes that you can podcast both here and on iTunes every single Tuesday and Thursday.

And again, if it was just me, I wouldn't be promoting it here, but, again... since so many members of our Living Liberally Chicago community are involved, I thought it would be a shame if you didn't know about it.

See you at Drinking and Laughing Liberally!
