Afterwards, we'll head to the Hideout nearby at Boren & Madison for drinks. Cheers, Downstairs at Town Hall Stanley Greenberg: 'Dispatches from the War Room' With the insights of an insider, political pollster and consultant Stanley Greenberg recounts his experiences working for five world leaders during their campaigns and governance. In Dispatches from the War Room, he recounts his experiences beginning with a candid look at his first major campaign—Bill Clinton’s 1992 successful run for the presidency. Greenberg went on to work for Nelson Mandela’s presidential run, for Tony Blain as he unveiled “New Labour,” and Ehud Barak’s attempts at peacemaking. His experiences have resulted in an astute assessment of why some politicians succeed, while other fail to bring their governing vision to fruition. Dow is running for King County Executive to replace Ron Sims, once Sims is (eventually) confirmed as Deputy HUD secretary.
