Hi Everyone,

First of all, I want to apologize if our most recent email was garbled. We've been having issues where formatting gets lost ... I'm told they've been fixed, but I'll be sure to keep an eye on it.

Second of all, I just got a note that Clarence Eckerson will be at Drinking Liberally this Tuesday. Clarence is a contributer to "Street Films" part of the Streetsblog family of websites devoting to document and improving urban livability issues. You can read more of his work at:

Hello everyone,

Recently we've been getting more requests to move DL to a time and location closer to work. I realize that in Seattle, there are a dozen different neighborhoods that have major work centers, but for the time being, we're going to be scouting locations in the Downtown/Pioneer Square area, looking for a happy hour to join just after work. At the very least, Downtown will be convenient for bus & light rail trips. If you have bar recommendations feel free to email us.

WHEN: 5:30-? (probably around 7 or 7:30)
PARKING: O'Asian will validate parking in the lot on Columbia between 5th & 6th.

Tonight (and at least until we settle on a new locale) we'll continue to meet at the Montlake Ale House, 2307 24th Ave E, from 8pm until close.
