Drinking Liberally Austin will meet tomorrow night from 6:30 onward at the Dog and Duck. Come on out and beat the heat with a pint (of stout!).

As I am leaving town early the following morning, I will probably recruit someone to mind the flag for the evening and bring it to DL next week.

Austin DL Welcomes Netroots Nation Happy Hour(s)

Join your fellow Drinking Liberals and Netroots Nation attendees for an informal welcome gathering at B. D. Riley’s Irish Pub on Thursday night starting at 6:30pm.

Badged Netroots attendees and all Austin Drinking Liberal members (see Ben for a wristband) will get Happy Hour Pricing all night long. Live Music with Blues Legend Hosea Hargrove & the Roadrunners starts at 7pm

Come mix and mingle liberally and show some Austin hospitality along with some cool live music!

* Happy Hour Pricing: $2.50 bottled beer, including imports, $2.50 well drinks and $4.25 for all great big 20-oz Imperial pints of draft beer.

Drinking Liberally will meet tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 6:30 at the Dog and Duck. There may be some extra bonus people on hand, as Netroots Nation convenes in Austin this week. So I encourage everyone to come on down to the Dog and Duck for a cool pint.

Thursday night is the first night of Netroots Nation. To celebrate the influx of liberals into Austin, we have a happy hour going on at BD Riley's all night. The special pricing is for anyone with an NN name badge, or any DLers that get a wrist band from me Thursday night. Hopefully there will be a swarm of folks fresh from the conference ready for a pint and eager to learn about Austin from the likes of y'all. BD Riley's is on 6th and Brazos.
