Hey everybody,

Since there was relatively little response to the last message, we've decided to go ahead and cancel the meeting tomorrow, so there is no DL tomorrow (Friday May 15). Sorry if you feel let down, but as out-of-town DL Athens co-host reminded us earlier today, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."

This means the next DL Athens meeting will be Friday June 5th.

For a variety of reasons, we co-hosts were just now discussing the possibility of canceling tomorrow's regularly scheduled DL meeting, but we wanted to "poll" the listserv to see how many of yall might have been planning on attending tomorrow.

Hey, ya'll! Can you believe it's May 1 and time for another DL meeting? The year is flying by, as have the first 100 days of Obama's administration.

We've got some great talking points for tonight's meeting, including the most reported on presidential beginning in history, Obama's upcoming supreme court appointment, and Nancy Pelosi's call to the Republicans to "take back" their party!

Come share a drink and your thoughts on the state of our nation tonight at Little Kings Shuffle Club, 6:30 pm. Hope to see you there!
