DL at Fry Street Fair, Denton TX
Submitted by John Turner-McC... on Sat, 04/22/2006 - 5:34pm.At the last minute, the Denton County Dems were offered table space in the Delta Lodge parking lot, so off I went today to help like a good party person. I also shilled for DL while I was there. What remained of our buttons have been given away to the good people of the city of Denton and Univ of North Texas, and some also took flyers. We had a few 14ish yr old kids take some too, but I told them they could only join us when theyre old enough. But hey, start 'em young I always say!
In other slightly progressive news, the Kinky Friedman campaign was directly across from us getting him on the ballot. Kinky also came to Fry St. to give a speech and talk to folks at his booth.
No pictures of all this. My batteries died at the Edwards' events last week. Sorry.
Spilling Liberally II
