Well, we've all been drowned in economy related data for the last week or so. The more I understand, the more agitated I get. The only thing at this point that has me (cautiously) feeling hopeful is the VP Debate on Thursday. It should be verrrry interesting.

Just a reminder...Our new sister chapter will be starting tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct 1st) in Claremont (http://livingliberally.org/drinking/event/Drinking-Liberally-Claremont-9). I'll be going to lend my support. If anyone wishes to carpool, I have a couple extra seats. I'll be bringing it up tonight at our gathering to see if any other carpools can be organized.

Hey Howdy Folks,

Our good friend and chapter member, David Withers has moved further down the 210 Fwy to Claremont. Instead of making the long commute every week back to Pasadena, he has taken it upon himself to save our natural resources and create a new chapter of Drinking Liberally out in his neck of the woods.

Rock On, Dave!

The inaugural chapter meeting is on Wednesday, October 1st, from 7:30 - 10ish

Hey Howdy

Mark your calendars folks...It's time for the Presidential Debates. And lucky for us, the 2nd debate coincides with our regularly scheduled meeting.

I don't know about you, but on Tuesday, Oct 7th @ 6pm I'll be hanging out in Madeleine's quiet and secluded Banquet Room watching the debate on a big screen TV.

There's plenty of room for all. If you are able to make it that early, please come on down. One way or another, it should be quite the show.
