Your recommendation is the best way to help our community grow. III. Bring your two ears as well as your one tongue, and use them proportionately. IV. Introduce yourself, and tell others your news and interests. Don't be shy, we like you, we really like you. Feel free to propose a toast when the mood strikes you, too. V. Tip the wait staff liberally, or they might spit in your beer. (Well, not really - but it's still the right thing to do) VI. If you wish to smoke, step away from the other tables and make a temporary smoking table. The other jonesing nic-fiends in the group will quickly follow you, no doubt... VII. FEATURING Candidates of District 29Submitted by Shasta McManus on Mon, 08/18/2008 - 11:55pm.THIS WEEK: This week we were planning on hosting a very special event called "Candidate Speed Dating" featuring all of the State Legislative candidates from District 29. Unfortunately only 3 candidates responded at all to the request and only 2 would confirm attendance. So we have postponed that event indefinitely. Instead we have invited the 2 candidates that did confirm, Ephraim Cruz and Matt Heinz, to join us Thursday evening for an informal forum. The 3rd, Daniel Patterson, may also join us if his schedule permits. I would like to thank these candidates for thier interest and support of Tucson's wonderful chapter of Drinking Liberally.
