Drinking Liberally - Happy Thanksgiving - Next Meeting 12/4

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We will not be hosting our regular Drinking Liberally session this week for hopefully we will all be drinking liberally and eating gluttonously with our family and/or friends. Please have a safe holiday and we will see you next Thursday!

Come, learn more and share your knowledge about investing. Whether we decide or not to wait out the current volatility of the stock market we have the opportunity with bargain prices and collective wisdom to enjoy a good long term return on our money.

For those hoping for more immediate gains, our investing club may not be for you, but there is a casino just off of I-19 several miles south of Tucson.

To become a member you must attend at least two meetings, then there is a $30.00 annual administrative fee plus a monthly minimum investment of $25.00.

PEDANTIC REMINDERS:
We don't have a lot of rules at Drinking Liberally (for policy wonks, that is...), but please consider the following Eight Etiquette Suggestions:

I. Bringing some finger foods to share wouldn't kill ya, would it? Seriously, it's not wise to drink on an empty stomach! And don't forget the those in need who aren't with us, and bring your non-perishable food items.

II. Bring your friends and/or family. What, are you embarrassed of us? Your recommendation is the best way to help our community grow.

III. Bring your two ears as well as your one tongue, and use them proportionately.

IV. Introduce yourself, and tell others your news and interests. Don't be shy, we like you, we really like you. Feel free to propose a toast when the mood strikes you, too.

V. Tip the wait staff liberally, or they might spit in your beer. (Well, not really - but it's still the right thing to do)

VI. If you wish to smoke, step away from the other tables and make a temporary smoking table. The other jonesing nic-fiends in the group will quickly follow you, no doubt...

VII. Forward this email to your friends and family who you think might want to participate in Drinking Liberally. They can join our mailing list at http://livingliberally.org/drinking/

VIII. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! Know your limits and make liberal use of designated drivers. We want to see you back again next week!

Cheers!

Reading Liberally Tonight!

We will be meeting to discuss The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein.

The meeting will be held on Monday November 10th at 7:30pm. If you want to come early (6pm) to grab a bite to eat and catch up with everyone, please feel free.

We will be meeting at Tasha Nelson's complex. Address is

5051 N Sabino Canyon Rd
Go north on Sabino Canyon from Tanque Verde. When the road forks and becomes Sabino or Kolb, stay to the right (Sabino). Go through the light at Sabino and Snyder. About 0.5miles up on the left (west) side of the road is Ventana Vista Condos. To get through the gate, hit #-1-2-0-7. If you forget the code, scroll through until you find the name T Nelson and have it dial. I can let you in. Come straight through the gate (don't take the immediate left) but take the next left and come around to the clubhouse front door (it will be on your right). We will be meeting in the clubhouse.

See you then!!
If you get lost, call 971-0522
