Cheers VP Debate 10/2Submitted by Greg Sasso on Tue, 09/30/2008 - 12:24pm.Quick update, There will not be an official DL watch party for the Palin Debacle, however there is the official unofficial DL watch party. There's a debate party being held at Quenchers and the organizer Steve would like to extend the invitation to all DL people. It'll be held at Quenchers (Fullerton and Western). Details are here: http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/debatewatchparty/gshfqq I'm really busy this week so I'm not sure if I'll make it out, but everyone should definitely head over there. Here is the info and if your interested email at jamiekilstein@yahoo.com Heres a Tv Clip of me on religion - http://www.theworldstandsup.com/Top-Clips/Jamie-Kilstein.aspx Its Sept 11 - 13. Two shows Friday and Sat. At lakeshoretheater.com Also here are some reviews of the show - Thanks so much. Its really cool what all of you are doing! 5 STARS - BROADWAY BABY “Kilstein, is to me eerily reminiscent of Bill Hicks and not in the sense of an astute impersonation but as if we are witness to some sort of Second Coming. Eloquent intelligence, razor-sharp wit and unconventionally convincing arguments. Kilstein is a special talent and one that I feel privileged for having seen at this early stage of his career. 4 STARS THE SCOTSMAN - KATE COPSTICK “This is beautifully, intelligently crafted stuff. Kilstein is possibly the most impressive writer/performer, I have seen – his set is so well written it could have a life apart from him and still be brilliant. Performed by him gives it an added oomph, but I have not been so aware of the writing quality of a comedy set this year.” 4 STARS CHORTLE - “In this brisk, fluid hour he’s sharp, sarcastic and engaging, fearless in niggling his targets and knows how to write a joke to back up his incredulous indignation…as funny as it is audacious.
