Back in the Saddle Again

It’s been a busy week, school starting, the kids’ schools starting, and everything in between. The GOP has been busy, sending out the big names from Washington to shore up support for Cubin. It seems like she needs the help.

While we’re on the subject of the GOP, I was wondering, what have you guys been up to lately to further progressive or liberal platforms in the community, whether its talking to co-workers, clients, friends, neighbors, etc.

Give me a shout out in the comments section, I’ll be happy to hear from you.

DrinkingLiberally will be having their national convention at the end of September, and I’d love to have some road dogs to cruise down to Denver and met people from all over the country. The itinerary looks amazing. I’m hoping to meet up with my old friend, AKA “Yella”, stunt bike rider, artist, proud family man, and occasional author.

I’m also still waiting for some people to send me some op-ed pieces we could put up on the blog. Union leaders, people engaged in the fight for equality, people who have a feeling or vision of what this city, state, and nation needs to reach to accomplish.

Besides, I’m an extremely time-challenged, working college dad; I could use your help!

Dog Days upon us…

It’s just hotter and dryer than hell here in Cheyenne. My trees, shrubs, and grass alternate their green and brown days, depending on the last digit of my address for a barely adequate drink. Droughts definitely suck…

And sucking is an excellent sedge way into my next subject: Barbara Cubin’s performance as the U.S Rep. from Wyoming. Her performance has been sub par for years, and she keeps getting the free plane ride back to D.C. How do you feel about this?

I don’t know about everybody else, but my hectic summer schedule looks like its going to continue into the fall. With that in mind, I would love some feedback about time and place for the fall meetings. Give me a shout out with some of your ideas.
