You have two opportunities to take a break from the Holiday frenzy with your Liberal friends. Our regular third Tuesday meeting is this week - 5:30 at Blue Coyote in Bluffton. Come share your thoughts with like-minded lefties over a liberal libation.

Then, on Thursday, join us for liberal laughter at the Hilton Head Comedy Club - our second Laughing Liberally event. Show details are below - it should be a blast. Invite your friends! Our special price is $5.00 per person, but you must make your reservations through Linda by emailing hiltonhead@drinkingliberally.org. Doors open at 7:30pm, and the show begins at 8pm. (You can pay Linda on Tuesday or arrive by 7:30 on Thursday.)

"The Bonk Show" is a truly unique and funny "Comedy Game Show" invented by comedian/ magician Kerry Pollock. It is an audience interactive comedy game repleat with prizes and lots of laughs. Great for groups or office parties as well as individuals. Bring your cameras for this one. Every show is different and full of surprises. It's time to get together again at Blue Coyote! Join other Liberal thinkers at 5:30 p.m. for drinks and plenty of conversation. We are a casual group, so stop by anytime. Our group continues to grow, and we hope you will continue to invite your friends.

President-Elect Obama will name his national security team today, so there will be lots to talk about. I am sorry that I won't be there this week, but Heather and Rob will be your hosts. I am in Obama Country - Chicago - with snow on the ground. I will see you next time.
