Battleground Event to Protect Gay Marriage

Living in San Francisco it may be hard to believe that proposition 8, which seeks to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in California, may pass this November. It is extremely important that we reach beyond our progressive city walls to make sure the beautiful celebrations we all witnessed this year do not get reversed. One way to do this:

Join us on Sunday October 19 for Screening Liberally's most important event this year.

Comedian Heather Gold and Ali Mafi will be introducing the event with two short sets of comedy. The Academy-Award Winning, short documentary film Freeheld (38minutes) will then be screened. Afterward, a panel of speakers will discuss the state of Gay marriage in California and explain how you can get involved to keep Gay marriage legal.

One Hundred Percent of sales will go to the No on Prop 8 campaign.

Don't miss your chance to get involved, the election is less than a month away!
