Nashua DL meets in 1 week (1/3/2012) at a NEW LOCATION!

The Nashua chapter of Drinking Liberally meets in 1 week, and we’re trying A GREAT NEW LOCATION! Please join us Tuesday, January 3rd, 7:30pm at THOUSAND CRANE II, 116 West Pearl St, Nashua. They serve Japanese and Chinese food. You can check out a short video here:

For those of you driving in, there is street parking, plus the Elm St. garage is practically next door to the restaurant, and parking is FREE after 7pm.

The restaurant has a function room, and we can occupy it. It’s long on space, short on noise, and has a big TV - which will be great for watching debates and presidential addresses!

Since last time:

After a long and bitter standoff, Boehner blinked and agreed to a 2-month extension of the payroll tax cut for the working class. What are the implications? Will it reduce future Social Security payments? Will it stimulate the economy? Did Republican resistance fully expose the GOP as the party of the 1%?

Donald Trump has changed his voter registration in New York state from Republican to unaffiliated. A spokesman says he changed his affiliation to preserve his option to seek the presidency in 2012. How great could that be?! Could the hair-pie split the idiot vote?

The Occupy Wall Street movement remains visible despite being forcefully ousted from camps in many major cities. While some try to link the movement to the Democratic Party, it remains independent. Plans are being laid to Occupy the New Hampshire Primary, which runs from January 6 through Primary Day, January 10. Will you be joining in?

What do YOU want to talk about? Come share on 1/3/2012! As always, no need to drink to join us! It’s all about the conversation!
