Just a reminder that Drinking Liberally is this Tuesday, August 24th, in the back room at Sheffield's, 3258 N Sheffield Ave, at 7pm.

But, this is no ordinary Drinking Liberally. Oh no. This Tuesday is also the co-head of the Chicago DL, Steve Stearns' birthday!

So, come out, talk politics with a bunch of great liberals, and buy Steve a birthday drink!

Well, Steve and I have returned from an awesome Netroots Nation convention in Las Vegas, and we managed to bring back with us Justin Krebs, the co-founder of Drinking Liberally & Living Liberally!

He'll be at DL this Tuesday, to hang, drink, and talk about his new book 538 Ways To Live Work & Play Like A Liberal.

The book is about the little ideas for embracing your progressive values everyday life, as well as the big ideas of what it means to be a "liberal" in America today.

The book was also attacked in a cover story in Bill Kristol's the Weekly Standard! When the enemy notices you, you must be doing something right!

As you can see in the subject, tomorrow's Drinking Liberally WILL NOT be at Sheffield's. Tomorrow we're doing a Screening Liberally screening of the Academy Award winning documentary The Cove at the No Exit Cafe. No Exit does serve beer and food, so we will be Drinking, as well as, Screening Liberally.

Doors open at 7pm, the movie will start at 8pm.
The screening is free.
