Virginians and Kentuckians agree:
Standing for health care & women's rights,
against corruption & right-wing attacks
is more popular than standing with Trump.

Diplomats & military personnel agree:
Trump blackmailed Ukraine --
as Trump appointees change testimony
& Trump lashes out at a decorated colonel.

Even more Republicans agree
that Trump broke the law --
they're just too scared to do
anything about it ... so far.

Elections have consequences
& Tuesday's should be a GOP
more scared of standing with Trump
than scared of standing up to him.

Talking Turkey, Chatting Chickens
Submitted by Justin Krebs, Founder Living Liberally 10/10/2019 - 2:53pm.
A majority of the American people
support impeachment, conviction, removal
but Republican cowards in Congress
can't fight for the Constitution.

Trump is desperate & dangerous
riling his base, attacking his critics
& greenlighting Turkey military moves
to the devastation of the Kurds
& the dismay of his own party.

China cracks down on the NBA
igniting a bipartisan backlash
but Trump won't defend free speech
while asking China to investigate Biden.

Giuliani's pals under arrest,
more whistleblowers, more leaks,
more women detailing Trump assaults
& even Biden finally favors impeachment.

While we're talking Turkey & China
the GOP's chatting chickens won't challenge
the talking turkey in the White House.

It's time the paltry poultry of the GOP
realize their goose is cooked.

Below is Living Liberally founder, Justin Krebs, recent blog:

Congress is back in session
with GOP planning no action on guns,
climate crisis or immigrants in detention
...while Dems move on impeachment, slowly.

Trump blocks Bahamians from relief in US,
seeks to roll back more enviro regulations,
& marks 9/11 with partisan attacks,
self congratulatory tweets
& a failed plan to secretly meet the Taliban.

And at least John Bolton is gone.
Although an unrepentant warmonger
never should've been there in the first place.

A special election in North Carolina
shows GOP faring behind Trump,
as polls show Trump behind leading Dems
leading up to the next national debate.

On 9/11, many of us say "Never forget."
The GOP seems to never remember:
To remember the mistakes of warmongers,
to remember to work for their constituents,
or to remember that Trump's dragging them down
& it's time they stand up to that mad man.

Living Liberally founder Justin Krebs recent blog below:

Mass shootings in El Paso, Dayton, Gilroy,
and daily gun violence & fatalities,
scar, terrorize & change all of us --
but fail to change Republican politics.

The gun massacres aren't the only tragedies
aimed at immigrants, fueled by racism,
as ICE launches unprecedented raids,
families are separated, neighbors deported
& kids are kept in cages & camps.

Trump, armed with Twitter,
dehumanizes immigrants,
attacks people of color,
then calls his critics racist.

With guns & white supremacy,
our nation is armed.
By guns & white supremacy,
our nation is harmed.

It's time to disarm hate
& to vote out the haters.

In the meantime, find company & comfort,
a cold drink & cool conversation
at your local progressive social club.

On the third Friday of July 7/19/19, we meet at Milo's Cellar 538 Nevada Way and try to occupy the back room and arrange seating so we can chat together. Check with the great wait staff to locate Drinking Liberals. Tapas are available until 6pm and half price drinks for PIGS until 7pm. Possible topics for discussion: Cost of Trump's salute to himself on 4th of July $ taken from National Parks already financially hurting from government shut down. Recent POTUS demeaning of progressive Democratic Congress Women of color "go back to where you came from".

Upcoming Event: Saturday 8/3/19: American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) to host 2020 Public Services Forum in Las Vegas. Jon Ralston will be co-moderator. 15 Democratic Candidates for President have confirmed.

Here is Living Liberally founder, Justin Kreb's recent blog:
How Dare He? How Dare We Not?
Submitted by Justin Krebs on Thu, 06/13/2019 - 1:00pm.
Trump says if foreign agents offer dirt,
he'd take it, not contact the FBI.
Which should surprise nobody
as Trump dares Democrats to impeach.

Dems close in on contempt votes
& keep issuing subpoenas,
as Trump cronies defy subpoenas,
set their own rules & in all ways
show their own contempt for Congress.

Chaos & lies from the census to trade,
attacks on immigrants & on abortions,
and a GOP that obstructs & ignores
while enabling the White House.

And while a federal agency recommended
Kellyanne Conway be fired,
she's hardly the most criminally corrupt
in this cartel of crooks & cronies
Congress is failing to Constitutionally confront.

You can ask "How dare he?"
about Trump's many misdeeds,
but until Congress opens impeachment,
we should be asking, "How dare we not?!"

Whatever you're asking, we have the answer:
cold drinks, cool company, warm conversation
at your local, progressive social club.

Upcoming Events:

Trump purges immigration agencies,
pushing out the monsters responsible
for family separation policies
to install new monsters ready to enforce
an even more brutal anti-immigrant agenda.

Barr continues to bar the Mueller report
with vague pledges, delayed timelines
& plans to purge the report of info
before Congress & the public can see it.

Mnuchin ends up in deep water,
mansplaining & obstructing Maxine Waters,
& Treasury refuses to release Trump's returns
while the GOP tax scam hits the rest of us.

The GOP purges decency & democracy,
Trump purges sanity & humanity,
but it's voters looking at right-wing leaders
who feel the strongest urge to purge.

Rise up, raise your spirits and a pint
with real talk & a rejuvenating evening
at your local progressive social club.

We can celebrate the passage & signing of expanded background checks in Nevada
to help prevent gun violence. Our legislature is also working to improve education,
and healthcare, promote renewable energy, and protect our public lands. Nevada
is truly becoming a progressive state!

Message from Justin Kreb's Living Liberally Blog dated 2/28/19
Michael Cohen's testimony revealed
more about Trump's crimes and corruption,
more about GOP cowardice and complicity,
& confident competent questioning
by a new Democratic majority.

The breakdown in talks with North Korea
ended high theatrics of two power-mad men
and stalled the cause of peace
even while in the White House
explores the world for new wars.

The Democratic House makes progress
with a gun bill, family separation hearings,
voting to end the fake national emergency.
But GOP senators say little & do even less.

Progressive professionals on one side.
Conservative con men up and down the other.
It's been week of pros and cons… and Cohen.
...With the Republicans showing themselves
to truly be the party of Don the Con.

Upcoming Events:
