Drinking Liberally: Has Some News

Greetings all my dog and cat calls,

First the business:
Drinking Liberally is on as usual (or unusual) this Thursday, 7:00 at the Green Bean on S. Elm St. Come the hell out and fill your face with beer and conversation.

Now a personal note:
Politics! I love it. I hate it. I want want to slap it in the face. I want to cozy up close to it and kiss it on the mouth.

As it turns out, it looks like I'm set to do exactly that. I've just accepted a job with the Kennedy Center. That's the the one in Washington D.C. - not the space center down in Florida. I'm moving to the belly of the political beast to start as the center's marketing copywriter. And because of the physical laws of time (and believe me, if I could bend them, I would) I will be moving very soon.

I hope to see as many of you as possible this Thursday, which may be my last Thursday as host. For those friends that I don't see, I've enjoyed talking, debating and drinking liberally with all of you. For those of you who get this weekly email and haven't yet come to DL, please continue to keep meaning to come, until eventually you do. The group isn't going anywhere. It pains me to move away so close to the election. I hope that the proximity of that event will feed the energy of the group in my absence.

You're a kick-ass bunch liberals, and I'll miss you,

Ritchie Rozzelle
