Join Us Wednesday at Dolce Vita

Why join the Drinking Liberally discussion?

The Russians are acting spooky, Pakistan is getting new leadership, and the Jamaicans are the fastest runners on the planet. Here at home, Tropical Storm Fay gathers strength, Barack Obama's selection of a running mate is likely to happen any minute now, and, well, what can you not say about Michael Phelps?

There's so much to talk about.

Each time we meet, more and more of you come out to raise a glass, share your ideas, and make new friends. Best of all, there's a great bunch of stuff coming up, including the impending Democratic and Republican National Conventions, our own Drinking Liberally National Conference just two-and-a-half weeks off, and a handful of Presidential debates on the horizon. Stay tuned for the special events we have lined up for each.

There's never been a better time to stop by.

Whether you pop in every time, swing by occasionally, or are eager to show up but in the past haven't quite mustered the gusto, this is a great opportunity to grab a glass of wine or an ice-cold beer and mull over the events of the day with people who are just as interesting--and interested in their world--as you are. We're a group who's smart, casual, thoroughly engaging, occasionally a little rowdy, and always fun.

We can't wait for you to join us!
