I apologize for the late notice. I tried to get someone to speak about the Pima Community College situation. As you probably read or heard, there is a community effort to recall four members of the Board. Since there is a rally/march starting at 5:30, followed by the Board meeting, nobody is available.
However, if the meeting ends at a decent time, Phil Lopez might stop by for a quick update.
So... we'll gather as usual at The Shanty at 6 PM to honor what it should be the most respected profession. All teachers are welcome to share their stories, all of us will pay tribute.

7PM Guest speakers, movies, forums, debates, etc or just continuing the interesting conversations.

On Wednesday May 1st our guest speaker will be Barbara Warren. She is a member of Physicians for Social Responsibility http://www.psr.org/chapters/arizona/climate-smart-southwest/ and she will speak about climate change and the challenges we'll be facing in Southern Arizona. Barbara will specifically address the impact on public health in the Southern communities.
