I have neglected to send out reminders for a while. We still are having our regular Drinking Liberally gatherings at Memphis at the Santora every Thursday night starting at 8:30 pm.

Hope to see you tonight. I hear the fried Newt (shrimp) Tacos are great.

In addition to our regular Drinking Liberally gathering at Memphis at 8:30 pm, there will be a special event in Downtown Santa Ana in support of the workers in Madison Wisconsin.

On Thursday Feb. 24, working people from throughout Orange County will hold a candlelight vigil to stand together in solidarity with the people of Wisconsin and all working people to defend against attacks on the middle class. Participants will stand with Wisconsin families who are fighting to protect their own basic right to collectively bargain.

Our cause is not about employee benefits or budgets – employees in Wisconsin have already led the way in agreeing to all the concessions necessary to balance the state budget there. We stand together to prevent the further erosion of the middle class and to protect the rights of employees everywhere to have a voice.

Please help us make sure our voices are heard.

WHO: Orange County Labor Federation

WHAT: Candlelight vigil in solidarity with working families across the country, including in Wisconsin.

Today is Thursday and tonight we will hold our regulat Drinking Liberally meet-up at Memphis at the Santora in Santa Ana. Tonight we celebrate the 50th birthday of our regular member, LiberalOC's Managing Editor, Dan Chmielewski.

We're back! After the holiday break it is time to get back into our groove and spend our Thursday evenings with like-minded people.

For that, the place to be is Drinking Liberally, at Memphis at the Santora in the fantastic Santa Ana Artist's Village. 201 N. Broadway, Santa Ana.

The fun begins at 8:30 pm.
