The local Green Party is hosting a meet-and-greet for candidates one week from tonight, Monday, July 26, at Peoria Pizza Works from 7-9 p.m. Gubernatorial candidate Rich Whitney, U.S. Senate candidate LeAlan Jones, and 18th Congressional District candidate Sheldon Schafer are scheduled to appear.
