Friday night at 9pm he will be on the Bill Moyers Show over at PBS channel 2 and ultimately... drum roll please

Fox News with Brit Hume. I don't think Brit has any inkling why Glenn is now commonly referred to as Glennzilla, but he soon will.

I'm not exactly sure why attendance has been light over the last couple months but I hope you will all come out to the Medway Cafe this Friday night to hoist a pint with your friendly neighborhood liberals.

I would like to get a sense of everyone's reactions to the appointments our president elect has made so far, especially in light of the praise that Fox News has been heaping on Mr. Obama. That is to say, if Fox thinks the picks are great, my instinct is to ask why.

The Great Bailout is well underway as well and still no word on who is getting how much and what we taxpayers are getting in return.

The outing of AIG "off-site meetings" at posh resorts has chastened these folks somewhat... they now insist that no signs be put in the lobbies of these swank palaces and they now call their bonus plans- get this- retention pay.

Orwell would be proud.

The attacks in Mumbai (formerly Bombay) are at least as complicated and misunderstood by our media as the Georgian attacks on Ossetia and Abkhazia in August. Lots of entities involved and disinformation everywhere. The part that makes it everyone's problem is that India and Pakistan both have nuclear weapons available to settle their differences in this age old conflict.

I have lots of news stories to share for those of you who are interested and I would like to know what you've been up to in the world of politics.

That is, if you haven't already.

I am wearing red, black and blue today in symbolic homage to the spiritual beating that this campaign has laid upon me. May we please celebrate the end of voting season with a toast tonight at the Medway Cafe 7pm? No more horror films parading as political banter, no more incessant demogoguery or false premises as fearful facts in the commercials, just on the Sunday political shows where it belongs.

I have several copies of "Good Night Bush" and some associated shwag to raffle off tonight if you need additional arm twisting to come out and celebrate. The publisher has generously donated these items to our little group for the sake of promotion.

There will also be an after party at Sharon and Walter's home if you want to keep on rocking late.

We will also have our regularly scheduled meeting this Friday at the Medway Cafe at 7pm if you have or need more campaign war stories to commemorate.

Be there or be square.

Just keep working and don't pay any attention to that man behind the curtain asking for $850 billion dollars. No one knows where this money will come from and only a handful will ever see where it goes but we will all eventually get stuck with the burden of that whopper. Generations to come will likely curse us for not stopping it.

And so we must commiserate tonight at the Medway Cafe. Football will make me a little late but feel free to raise a pint without me. I will arrive by 8pm with lots of printed news you won't see on teevee like...
