We're looking for hosts for your local Drinking Liberally.

Hosting Drinking Liberally is EASY! All you have to do is decide on a location and time and send out reminders. We set you up with a mailing list and alias email and it's simple. Every few months, you'll receive emails from us and have the chance to participate in a national conference call.

Overall, it's no more difficult than getting some friends together. It works best if people team up. So whether you have a friend you would like to work with or not, just let me know if you're interested and I'll link you with another interested leader.

Howdy everyone.

It is kind of quiet here in Lincoln. Since the state fair moved to Grand Island we don't have the usual massive influx of folks from all over descending into town like we usually do the last week of august.

That doesn't mean there are not things going on.

Bold Nebraska is keeping people up to date on the think headed antics of our Governor, and keeping the Sand hills pipeline in the news.

Gov Heineman's threatening letter to state educators has people up in arms, comments in Local paper are running 75 percent against him, we can only hope this faux pas will come back and haunt him in November.

It would be so nice to NOT have a Governor that simply parrots the GOP hard line agenda.

The weather is nice and there is a lot to talk about with the Arena vote just passing and the upcoming November elections.

The holidays being a time where people spend more time with family and at home, the Lincoln chapter is going on Hiatus until February.

We will get a fresh start in the spring and I hope to see many more of you at our gatherings then...
