Hello Everyone!

Drinking Liberally Lincoln is meeting at Zen's

Barbara Baier will be there to answer questions about her
campaign for County Commissioner, and share a drink with everyone.

Thanks to everyone that came out to Meet Josh, Justin and Matt from New York and welcome them to Nebraska a few weeks ago.

They had a good time meeting everyone, and spending time at the State fair and walking around Lincoln on game day.

A lot has happened over the last few weeks, after the end of the Campaign Conventions, there should be some very good conversations at our next meeting, I hope to see you all there!

They are planning to stay the night in Lincoln and your hosts here are planning an informal get together with them so everyone can meet them and say hello at Zen's Bar on 11th street at 7:30 pm till whenever...

Also they are staying over Friday night, and are asking if anyone has a place they could stay at for the night,
splitting them up is ok... so if you have room for a visiting fellow Liberal Blogger / Comedian from New York, please show them some Nebraska Hospitality and give them a place to crash at for the night.

They should get into town at about 6 pm.

If you can help out please call me at 402-429-6775 and I will pass info along to Justin.

Hope to see everyone at Zen's.... 7:30 pm THIS Friday.

THANKS!!!

Paul

Time to get together again soon!

Hello Everyone,

The next meeting of Drinking Liberally in Lincoln is the 18th of August.

We are meeting at Zen's Lounge 112 N 11th St...

Some members asked ifwe could have it in a different
locale, so for this month we are trying Zen's.

I might be late to the meeting as I will just be returning from a trip that night, so Craig Schuster
is going to Host in my place to get it started.

I will be there, just not perhaps at the start.

I hope to see everyone there!!

Have a great week!

Paul

Regarding The Next DL Lincoln Meeting

Hey guys,
I hope this finds you all well - I'm sending this note to let you know that your awesome hosts, Paul and Troy, will not be available for the upcoming DL meeting this Monday, July 21st.

Why won't they be available? Because, as Seth wrote in our DL blog (http://livingliberally.org/Living-Liberally/blog/Saving-People-Liberally), they left for California, to serve as Helicopter Flight Engineers fighting the California wild fires. They're going as part of a group of trained Nebraskan aircrews eager to assist the Californian firefighters who are unfortunately running out of resources dealing with all the fires out there.

Paul and Troy wanted us to relate to you guys that it'd be great if you could meet without them, and continue on the Great Liberal tradition until they get back.

And be sure to buy them a pint or two once they return - they've more than earned it.

Best,
Josh Bolotsky
National Program Coordinator, Drinking Liberally
