Because, as Seth wrote in our DL blog (http://livingliberally.org/Living-Liberally/blog/Saving-People-Liberally), they left for California, to serve as Helicopter Flight Engineers fighting the California wild fires. They're going as part of a group of trained Nebraskan aircrews eager to assist the Californian firefighters who are unfortunately running out of resources dealing with all the fires out there. Paul and Troy wanted us to relate to you guys that it'd be great if you could meet without them, and continue on the Great Liberal tradition until they get back. And be sure to buy them a pint or two once they return - they've more than earned it. Best, See all blog posts from this chapter |
