& a discussion of the battle for Marriage Equality, from Prop 8 to New York.
FREEHELD is the academy-award winning documentary
about a dying police officer whose partner was denied benefits
because the two of them were the same sex.
This moving, critically-acclaimed film resonates
with the recent events in California -- and the outpouring of energy
to fight for marriage equality across the country.
Join us for the film, and for a discussion about marriage equality
with speakers who were involved in the fight against Prop 8
and are engaged in the work to bring the issue to New York.

We meet the third Tuesday of the month, except November and December.
