Best, Tom DL 2niteSubmitted by Tom Tucker on Thu, 12/18/2008 - 5:33pm.Drinking Liberally meets as usual tonight from 8 to 10 at Monty's Korner on Alexander and East. Pardon season is almost upon us, so we may be starting a pool. Hope to see you there (though I may be a little late). Best, Tom see David Cay Johnson speakSubmitted by Tom Tucker on Tue, 12/16/2008 - 4:17pm.As many people at Drinking Liberally are aware, Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times tax reporter David Cay Johnston is a Rochester resident. You can see him speak tonight (Tuesday, December 16) at 5:30 pm at the UAW Hall at 221 Dewey Avenue. There will also be a discussion of the situation facing the US automotive industry, led by Working Families Party head Eric Martin, who is also UAW representative. I'm passing this along because a number of DL members have expressed interest in hearing David Cay Johnston talk and in hearing more about the situation facing the automotive industry. DL 2niteSubmitted by Tom Tucker on Thu, 12/11/2008 - 5:34pm.DL meets as usual 8 to 10 today at Monty's Korner on Alexander and East. I won't want to go into details here, because I think the feds may be monitoring my email, but we'll be auctioning off a Senate Seat tonight at Monty's.
