Bring out your #2 pencils and spit out that chewing gum--because school is in session this month at Drinking Liberally as we welcome guest speaker and School Board Director Meagan Holman to our May meeting.

We have an intellectual heavyweight in the house, as Meagan is a graduate of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University--yes, that Harvard. She's here to dazzle us with her ideas and plans to make Milwaukee Public Schools a destination choice for the 21st century student.

As always, it will be a fun, informal event with plenty of beer, pizza, conversation and more...plus you never know what unexpected guests may stop by.

I look forward to seeing everyone Drinking Liberally--unless you're the designated driver who's drinking conservatively with Diet Pepsi.

We'll see you as always, on the third Monday of the month (May 20th) at 7pm in the back of Transfer Pizza!

It's no April Fool's Day joke--this month we are welcoming Conservative County Supervisor Steve Taylor to our monthly meeting.

As you likely know, there is lots of excitement going on at the County level, and I thought it would be great to invite someone who may have a slightly different perspective on what is going on.
