Reminder: March 29th - Prophets of Bloom

Come join Eating Liberally and the Tishman Environment and Design Center on Tuesday, March 29th from 7 to 9 pm at The New School to hear "The Prophets of Bloom"--Joan Gussow, James Howard Kunstler, and Michele Owens--talk about peak oil, peak soil, the homegrown revolution, and everything but the kitchen (heat)sink!

The panel discussion "Cultivating A Post-Carbon Future," will explore the ideas and insights expressed in Gussow's two memoirs, This Organic Life and Growing, Older, along with Kunstler's The Long Emergency and Owen's just-published Grow The Good Life.

The discussion will be followed by a book signing and reception with light refreshments.
